The town of Husinets, located in southern Bohemia in the Prahatice district, boasts a museum in honor of the famous Czech local theologian Jan Hus. The exhibition follows chronologically the life of the theologian, his stay at Charles University, his preaching work and the course of the spread of Huss's ideas and work throughout Europe. Surely you would not expect to find the presence of modern electrical installations there? Great delusion!

The locals are rightly proud of Jan Hus, they always strive to preserve the memory of his work and move forward, while providing visitors with maximum comfort. Proof of this is the extensive reconstruction in the order of tens of millions of crowns, through which the museum passes in 2015, during which our iNELS BUS system came into play. Care had to be taken during installation to avoid physical damage to the exhibits.

This is confirmed by the words of Mayor Hussein, Mrs. Lyudmila Pankova: "The native house of Jan Hus was destroyed for many years and was not a worthy monument to such a significant person. After the initial problems and ambiguities, in 2015, Thanks to the subsidies for the museum and a project with a private company, we finally managed to reconstruct, restore its appearance and technologically modernize it, using up-to-date electrical installations and controls.

How can the BUS system manage a museum?

It allows easy access to the exhibits in the museum, pressing a button on the touch screen EST3 displays the scene that starts the video projection and soundtrack. During the video, the spotlights illuminate the exhibits that are currently being told. In addition to these conditions, the main lighting is controlled, which is turned on when someone is moving in the area. If someone starts a projection, the brightness of the lights in the room is automatically reduced.

The system is complemented by DMD3 motion and lighting sensors connected to the DALI bus. The EMDC-64M control device, designed for DALI / DMX protocols, is in full control. It distinguishes its name and can control up to 64 connected devices simultaneously. A communication server is used to communicate with the audio / video components, which translates the protocols of the individual devices.
